Brand-new for 2023!

Elgiva Youth Theatre is proud to announce our first inaugural Spring Show at the Elgiva!

We passionately believe in providing affordable, professional performing arts experiences to young people in our community and the Spring Show will offer exactly that!

Wilder Than the Wild West is an original script written to give every child an equal number of lines depending on their age, and will be interlaced with popular show songs performed by our Musical Theatre class.

EYT members will rehearse the scenes in our weekly classes, culminating in a full day of dress and technical rehearsals at The Elgiva on Sunday 19th March and final rehearsal and show on Tuesday 21st March 4pm to 7:30pm (show at 6:30pm).

Participants must be available for the rehearsals and show on 19th & 21st March.

The cost of taking part will be:
Weekly class costs + Show Fee of £75 (£50 for Bright Stars group)

The £75 show fee includes:

  • Full day and tech rehearsal at The Elgiva on Sunday 19th March.
  • 3 hour+ session for everyone on Tuesday 21st March rather than the usual weekly class time.
  • Professional technical and production team at The Elgiva to produce the show.
  • Most costumes (black base layers and/or jeans will be required on request).
  • Up to 6 seats at the theatre to watch the show (no tickets will be on sale for the show).

Priority for booking places will go to current members of EYT and will be available until Monday 5th December, at which time booking will be opened to the wider community.

To be a part of the show, please book your place in the weekly classes. The additional show fee must then be paid by 1st February 2023.
