    Oscars by Decade – ‘Personal Favourites’ – an exhibition of film posters from Oscar winning movies from the last ninety years. 

     

    Curator: Brigitte Bertout

    Brigitte has been living in Chesham for almost eight years. Since she retired 18 months ago, she has been involved as a volunteer with Chesham in Bloom, Cats Protection, the On Location Film Festival and more recently Chiltern Film Society. She has loved the cinema for many years – when a student in Paris, she used to go and see a film everyday during the holidays!

      By train Chesham Underground on the Metropolitan Line is a six minute walk away. Leave the car behind and enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in one of Chesham’s restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés.

      Amersham is just eleven minutes away on the 1A bus, or (about) a £12 cab ride away.

      Coming by car’s fine too… Albany Place pay and display car park is next door to the theatre, with three disabled spaces and two electric car charging points.
