The Story of Ireland is a brand new staged theatre show that is a must see for all those with Irish connections or who love Irish music.

Taking the audience through some timeless Irish ballads and music as we get an insight to some of the history of the Emerald Isle from all those who emigrated for a variety of factors, through to the battles and challenges the Irish have faced over centuries and of course the wonderful music that still brightens up stages across the globe.

Through music, poetry, narration, choreography and song The Story of Ireland unfolds live before your eyes in theatre venues across the UK during 2023. Featuring a talented cast of 7 performers, who act as all of the various characters we meet as well as narrate, sing, dance and play instruments.

Instruments featured in the show include Bodhran, Acoustic Fiddle, Accordion, Tin Whistle, Banjo, Acoustic Guitar, BoxDrum, Electric Violin and the Irish Flute.

The song list contains much loved songs one after another, with some of the most popular songs being Danny Boy, The Wild Rover, Galway Girl, Fields of Athenry, Galway Bay, Black Velvet Band, Town I Loved So Well and Molly Malone.
