Growing up in post-World War II era Arizona, young Sammy Fabelman falls in love with movies after his parents take him to see “The Greatest Show on Earth.”

Armed with a camera, Sammy starts to make his own films at home, much to the delight of his supportive mother.

But he soon discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of films can help him see the truth.

Winner of Best Picture and Best Director at the Golden Globes and nominated in seven categories for the 2023 Academy Awards.

By train Chesham Underground on the Metropolitan Line is a six minute walk away. Leave the car behind and enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in one of Chesham’s restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés.

Amersham is just eleven minutes away on the 1A bus, or (about) a £12 cab ride away.

By car 

Coming by car’s fine too… Albany Place pay and display car park is next door to the theatre, with three disabled spaces and two electric car charging points.
