Did you know that in the 1980s there were annual Pancake Races in Chesham?
Chesham Connect, the organisation behind Hats Off Chesham! has decided it is time for a revival of this great tradition. But instead of being a solo sprint, they are making it a team event.
Teams of four will run a relay race but instead of a baton, they will pass a frying pan and pancake, each runner stopping to toss the pancake twice. The winners of each heat will go on to the next round, building up to the final race. All for the honour of being the winners of
The Great Chesham Pancake Race 2023!
Frying pans and pancakes (don’t eat them!) for the race will be provided.
Sign up now! You can enter a team, or as a solo and we will match you up with teammates on the day. Families, friends, businesses are all welcome.
But if you don’t want to take part – just come along to watch and cheer your favourites home!
