After the siblings are torn apart, the eldest, Hasna, struggles to find her identity, leading to a choice that shocks the world.

Director Dina Amer takes on one of the darkest issues of our time and deconstructs it in an intimate story about family, love, sisterhood, and belonging.

This film is showing as part of the Chiltern Film Society season. Showings are open to non-members. Seating is unreserved – simply purchase a ticket and choose your seat when you arrive.

By train Chesham Underground on the Metropolitan Line is a six minute walk away. Leave the car behind and enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in one of Chesham’s restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés.

Amersham is just eleven minutes away on the 1A bus, or (about) a £12 cab ride away.
