Dave Bellamy has been painting for many years, primarily working with oil paints out of his home studio in Ley Hill, Buckinghamshire.

His work reflects his relationship with the local environment and through his experiences as a trail runner, coupled with the dramatic landscapes of North Wales and Cornwall.

All three of these ignite his passion for big skies and big seas.

Currently, Dave is working in exhibitions at Discover Bucks Museum, having covered a 40-year career in the museum sector, including a large period of time working at the British Museum, British Library and British Motor Museum.

If concessionary rates are available for a show/event, this will be clearly indicated on the booking screen. If no concessions are shown, then there is only one flat ticket price.

Admin fee

The ticket price shown includes an Administration Fee of up to £1.50 per ticket. The purchase price is the same whether tickets are booked online or in person. There is no additional fee for paying by credit card.

By train Chesham Underground on the Metropolitan Line is a six minute walk away. Leave the car behind and enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in one of Chesham’s restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés.

Amersham is just eleven minutes away on the 1A bus, or (about) a £12 cab ride away.

By car 

Coming by car’s fine too… Albany Place pay and display car park is next door to the theatre, with three disabled spaces and two electric car charging points.
