The Elgiva offers a packed programme of touring and community theatre, live music, comedy, cinema, dance and live screening of productions from the West End and around the globe. We attract household names with Jack Dee, The Blues Band, Jo Brand, Chris Barber, Michael McIntyre and Horrible Histories all appearing here in the last couple of years; we also showcase local art and community projects and stage various workshops.
The Elgiva can accommodate events for 2 to 400 people. We wouldn’t be able to stage our wide-ranging programme without our technical and front of house team and due to our ever-growing schedule, we frequently have exciting opportunities available.
The Elgiva prides itself on high standards, friendliness and ensuring everyone is part of the team – a strong sense of community runs through everything we do. The theatre staff have a passion for the performing arts and for ensuring that our customers have a first-class experience each and every time they visit our theatre.
If you are interested in working for us and joining our happy team in delivering that excellent theatre experience for our customers, please keep an eye on this page!
Due to the growth of the theatre’s events programme, an exciting vacancy has now arisen for a Casual Duty Manager to assist with the operation of this vibrant community entertainments venue.
