The Elgiva offers a packed programme of touring and community theatre, live music, comedy, cinema, dance and live screening of productions from the West End and around the globe. We attract household names, with Ed Byrne, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Horrible Histories and Steeleye Span all appearing here in the last couple of years, and we also showcase local art and community projects and stage various workshops.

The Elgiva prides itself on high standards, friendliness and ensuring everyone is part of the team – a strong sense of community runs through everything we do. The theatre staff have a passion for the performing arts and for ensuring that our customers have a first-class experience each and every time they visit our theatre.
