Bernie Grist is an accomplished local artist printmaker who exhibits regularly; her exhibitions include Bodenpress group exhibitions, the RA Summer Exhibition 2020 and the National Original Print Exhibition 2019 at Bankside.

    Bernie says:

My work is informed by who I am and by how I respond to what I engage with, to what I read, see, think and feel. I enjoy using many different types of original hand-inked print techniques and like to explore new ideas. The concept of layers provides a background relationship for my work, whether it be the subject matter or the print process.

Printmaking is not a quick, press-a-button act but a detailed and sometimes very lengthy process to produce the desired image, but the whole process is so much fun! – planning the plate, mixing the colours, combining techniques.

All are original hand-inked artworks – NO reproductions!

    Art available to purchase!

Original artworks from £75. Enquire at the Box Office.
