Barry Taylor has been honing in on improving his eye for composition and detail from an early age through a love of painting and drawing.
Barry says:
I have a lifelong love for Natural History, in particular the amazing detail that I try to capture in my photographs. I am always looking for the more complex shapes, patterns or close up images, often seeing just a very small part of a component.
I have a love of flower photography in particular that will be evident in this exhibition. I also love the natural beauty of trees that are so vital to all of us and are now being lost at an alarming rate.
I strive to capture the beauty to be seen in just subtle colour shades, exquisite flowing shapes and form, often observing the very complex forms of close-up images. These can be seen if you just look very carefully taking more time to observe, often looking from unusual perspectives such as my Flowers Frozen in Ice or the strange Floating Reflections in the Sky.
