Come on down to “Murphy’s Irish Pub” for a glorious night of Irish music!

Multi-Award-Winning Irish Band The Wild Murphys will take you back to very Irish pub you’ve ever frequented and if you’ve never been in one then this is the best place to start.

The band are going to play you some of the greatest songs from across the Irish sea. If you know the words then you simply must sing along, and if you don’t, join in as best you can!

 

It’s a night of glorious of high-energy Irish Music and more than a little bit of Irish Craic with the very best traditional Irish musicians playing a thrilling mix of traditional and contemporary tunes guaranteed to have your hands clapping and toes tapping all night long.

The seven-piece live band is headed by lead singer Middi Murphy armed with blarney, banter and an accordion, alongside Trevor Brewis (Jimmy Nail) on drums, Tony Davis (Prelude) on keys and the BBC award-winning fiddle player Sophy Ball on fiddle.

In their own inimitable style, The Wild Murphys celebrate Irish classics with tracks including: Galway Girl, Tell Me Ma, Dirty Old Town, The Irish Rover, Brown Eyed Girl, Seven Drunken Nights, Sally MacLennane, When You Were Sweet Sixteen, Whiskey in the Jar, Wild Rover and Molly Malone, to name just a few.

Concessions

Concessionary rates are available where indicated (proof must be provided). Discounts include: over 60s, children (15 years and under), full-time students and registered disabled (and carers).

Returns

We regret that tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase.

Admin fee

The ticket price shown includes an Administration Fee of up to £1.50 per ticket. The purchase price is the same whether tickets are booked online or in person. There is no additional fee for paying by credit card.

How to find us

By train Chesham Underground on the Metropolitan Line is a six minute walk away. Leave the car behind and enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in one of Chesham’s restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés.

Amersham is just eleven minutes away on the 1A bus, or (about) a £12 cab ride away.

By car 

Coming by car’s fine too… Albany Place pay and display car park is next door to the theatre, with three disabled spaces and two electric car charging points.
