After pandemic restrictions means no panto in 2020, The Elgiva is delighted to be staging Snow White in December.
The theatre, which is wholly owned and operated by Chesham Town Council, is producing Snow White in association with New Pantomime Productions and has high hopes for its festive treat.
Step into a fairy tale world with magic mirrors, poisoned apples and an enchanted sleep that only true love’s kiss can break.
Theatre Manager David Cooper said: “Christmas isn’t Christmas without a panto – we promise a proper professional family pantomime, filled with spectacular special effects, fabulous songs, wonderful costumes, great gags and oodles of slapstick. And of course plenty of audience participation and sing-a-longs.”
The Elgiva is delighted to welcome everyone’s favourite Pantomime Dame, Sean Luckham, back to The Elgiva – all those dads on the front row had better beware! Joining Sean is James Crossley who thrilled audiences as Hunter in the hit TV show Gladiators and panto sweetheart Gemma Brodrick as Snow White.

David Cooper added: “We have a stellar cast this year – top professionals who also know how to have fun with a performance, engage with the audience and ensure every show is fresh and sparkling. I really cannot wait to hear our theatre ringing with laughter, full of the buzz of happy, celebrating families.”
Placing itself at the heart of its community, The Elgiva will continue to demonstrate its inclusivity, with both a relaxed and signed productions and by welcoming a host of local schools, care homes, Cubs, Brownies, work outings and of course FAMILIES to its pantomime spectacular.
The theatre prides itself as a family-friendly venue and one that is safe and mindful of current guidelines.
The Elgiva has also revamped its website with a faster, clearer ticket journey, better accessibility and lots more content, including video, photos, blogs and podcasts.
The Elgiva, in association with New Pantomime Productions Ltd, presents Snow White, a fabulous family pantomime.
